Lagoon after Disneyland.....now is that even possible? How much fun is that going to be? No Pinocchio. No Tower of Terror. No shrubs carved into swans. No endless seaching for a Braer Rabbit Pin (Not available anymore so don't even look! You can get a Braer Rabbit punched penny though, after you get off Splash Mountain. The one where you stick in a perfectly good penny and 50 cents, crank the crank and get out a penny, destined to be your favorite souvenir). In January we had been treated to the most awesome vacation to Disneyland. The first time for Jerry and the kids. And we had the best time. Perfection. Now standing in front of Lagoon, we didn't even know if it was worth walking through the gates. Lagoon doesn't even has a mascot does it? Maybe a swamp creature thing with seaweed hanging from its hair, a croaking bullfrog? ...Anything?
In we went, and I am here to tell you...no Magical Kingdon, but not too shabby. All in all a great evening. We went with our dearest friends the Nielsens, the very same friends who had taken us to Disneyland. They still had the desire to ride a rickety old wood roller coaster and so did we. 
Jack and Dana looked like best buddies. I had to blink twice. Dana tempted the water fountain and within ten minutes of getting there, she was soaked. Hank was very brave this year and Jerry was up for anything. Thank goodness, someone had to go on The Spider with Hank. He rode it four times!
Here's a picture of Jack and Stephen (below) on that spinny thing. The one that turns the lights off and rocks out to music. The one that pulls you to the outside edge. See....now you know what one I'm talking about. Cool picture huh?

Crease..I mean Laurie...it was so good to hear from you! I am glad that you found us off Wendy's blog. I can't believe how big your kids are. I remember when you had Jack & now look at all of them! Your daughter is beautiful! We miss you too!
What a fun family outing that ALL ages would enjoy. We don't get that much these days.
WW: Yesterday, I ate a 9 POINT pkg of cashews! How stupid was that! I did not eat the rest of the day, however, the protein lasted! I wasn't hungry!
