Father and Sons Campout

Jack's memory: "We had a great experience going to the Father and Son Campout. This was the first for our ward here in Harvest Hills. We went up to Vernon Resevoir (puddle..they were in the process of draining). We went down to the water and played in the mud. We found parts of dead crawdads and some alive. There was blue ones and red ones. I liked riding the Lemkes four-wheeler and the huge bonfires. I had one of the best night sleeps I have had for a very long time. Breakfast was awesome. We had pancakes, sausage, hashbrowns, eggs and orange juice. Great time with my dad and brother."

Hanks's memory: "I'll never forget the bonfire. It was HUGE! It was fun when Brother Lemke, Brayden, Zack and I went on the four-wheeler. You can find crawdads down at the lake. That's all!"
And lastly, Jerry's memory: "We went, we ate, we had a bonfire, we slept, we ate, we left."

Hey Laurie,

This is Renae Fincher--came across your blog as I was checking out Stephanie's. You and your family look great. Can't believe your kids are so big.

If you want to see my family and blog send me a quick note and I'll add you to my list.

What a GREAT time those guys had at Father's and Sons. Camping in Utah just does not compare with the midwest with all the bugs and humidity. They have moved our Father's and Sons to Sept. to avoid heat and rain and Brad took 2 boys and had fun with the new tent and thermal sleeping bags. It did get to 40 degrees at night.

Cute family. They grow SOOOOOOOOOO fast.

Do I REMEMBER who my "Remember" was? Quite forgettable now, although don't tell that to any teenager with a crush who currently has a "remember"! I am throwing a BABY shower for Grandma Fackrell and her daughter Linda-second oldest! I have a friend who is a GRANDMA? Oh no not me!

Did you ever know that my FIRST date was Marty Watkins? I think you were at school.

We sure did have fun at the dances? Does your daughter look forward to the monthly event like we did? Highlight of my social life!
